Pere Marquette River Steelhead Fishing

The Steelhead fishing on the Pere Marquette River was bordering insanity today,  it seemed like every fish in the lower river wanted to eat and who are we to say no??  The river is at a great level and has some pretty heavy color which I think worked to our advantage.  While we did not see any real dark fish today only a few were true chromers so we can rest easy as the "run" won't be over before it starts as some might think.  Ed and Fritz are pictured below with a couple of Steelhead they caught back bouncing spawn today.
